They, and each of our employees, are held to high standards of integrity and relationship management skills, as well as investment strategy expertise. While each principal holds specific and complementary expertise, each is a general investment adviser driven first and foremost by client objectives.
Steve Sloan has over 40 years of tenure in the financial services and investment business. He has advised clients at such firms as E.F. Hutton, J.P. Morgan Private Bank and, prior to joining Arcus, at Credit Suisse Private Bank, where he was Managing Director and Regional Sales Manager. Steve’s investment perspective is strengthened by his experience with many economic cycles and market conditions over his nearly four-decade career. This experience has heavily influenced the Arcus investment approach. Steve holds a BA in English from the University of Georgia.
Steve and his wife, Mollie, live in Atlanta. They have one son, Spencer, who is an artist and is married to the former Millie Stewart. Steve has served as a Vice Chairman of The Tour Championship by Coca Cola for the last ten years. The Tournament's profits are contributed to charities, among them, The First Tee and The East Lake Foundation. Steve is also a volunteer member of the Media Committee at The Masters golf tournament.
Steve Edwards has spent over 20 years in wealth and asset management. Over the years, Steve has been responsible for advising individuals, family groups and foundations on investment strategy and manager selection. Prior to becoming a partner of Arcus, Steve worked as a Director in Private Banking at Credit Suisse and was previously with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management group. He holds a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia.
Steve lives in Atlanta with his wife, Jill, and their two children. Steve enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling and spending time in the mountains of North Carolina.
Ross Singletary’s two decades of experience in finance and wealth management give him a broad perspective of investment markets. He has guided clients in a wide variety of investment strategies and has developed a particularly thorough knowledge of the use of non-traditional and volatility dampening strategies within Arcus client portfolios. Before joining Arcus, Ross was a Director in Credit Suisse’s Private Banking unit and was previously with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management group. He holds a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Ross serves on the Advisory Board of the Williams School of Commerce at Washington and Lee University, the only top tier liberal arts college in the country with a nationally accredited commerce school. He is Chair of the Endowment Committee of The Sheltering Arms, an Atlanta based nonprofit early childhood education program. Since its founding in 1888 The Sheltering Arms has grown to annually serve over 3,600 children. Ross also serves on the board of the Jacksonville based Florida Theatre, an iconic Mediterranean Revival entertainment venue built in 1927 that has hosted a wide range of artists from Elvis Presley in 1956 to Engelbert Humperdinck in 2014, the latter enjoyed by Ross and his wife, Sally. The Florida Theatre was recently named one of the Top 100 Theatres in the world by Pollstar Magazine.
Michael has over 15 years of experience in wealth and asset management working primarily with private investors and institutions. Prior to joining Arcus, he has advised clients in portfolio and risk management at SunTrust Investment Services-Alexander Key Division as well as at Citigroup-Salomon Smith Barney. Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in 1996 and the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2003.
Michael and his wife, Jennifer, live in Atlanta with their three children. He is actively involved in coaching youth baseball and football at Buckhead Baseball and Northside Youth Organization (NYO). Michael is an avid squash player and played four years of varsity tennis while at Vanderbilt.
Adrienne Mandt has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry spanning portfolio management, analysis, operations and compliance. Prior to joining Arcus, Adrienne was a Sr. Vice President at Dominick & Dominick, a Portfolio Manager with EndPoint Capital, and a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Trusco Capital Management. Adrienne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she doubled majored in Finance and International Business and studied Mandarin Chinese. She has been a CFA® charterholder since 2001.
Adrienne lives in Marietta with her family and their Boston Terrier. She is actively involved with her two son's competitive sports leagues, including year round baseball.
Danny Mack brings over 10 years of investment experience to Arcus focusing on portfolio management, investment analysis, and trading activities. Prior to joining Arcus, Danny was most recently a portfolio manager and senior analyst at Stadion Money Management where he had a lead role in the implementation of Stadion’s alternative asset management strategies and helped Stadion grow from $900 million to $7 billion in client assets. He began his career as a trading and investment operations associate with Fisher Investments in San Francisco, helping manage $50 billion in client assets. He graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he studied Economics and Finance.
Danny is affiliated with numerous civic and philanthropic organizations including the Terry College Young Alumni Board, the Shepherd Center Junior Committee, the Buckhead Jaycees, and Will’s Club at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Danny is a classically trained concert violinist and has performed across the United States and Europe.
Winn Pierson handles the client administration and operations at Arcus. Prior to Arcus, Winn worked as a sales assistant and receptionist in Charleston, South Carolina. Her experience also includes an internship with Smith Barney. Winn holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the College of Charleston.
Winn grew up on a farm in Culloden, Georgia. She enjoys traveling, fishing and hunting with her bird dogs, including her yellow lab, Riley, who is working towards her American Kennel Club Hunt Trials Senior Title. Winn is also an avid equestrian and rode on the equestrian team at the College of Charleston. In addition, she serves as Social Chair for the Children's Museum of Atlanta Young Professionals group.
Kendall Fritchie supports the Arcus team in providing due diligence research on a variety of asset management strategies in addition to client management duties. Kendall graduated from the Williams Commerce School at Washington and Lee University with a BS degree in Business Administration.
A native of New Orleans, Kendall upheld her family's long legacy at Washington and Lee as a 4th generation graduate. She is an avid tennis player and recently joined the Alta Tennis League in Atlanta.
